The success story of PTS-precision GmbH continues. After PTS celebrated its tenth anniversary at the beginning of this year, the next highlight in the company's short history is now on the agenda. PTS-precision GmbH was awared as FOCUS Growth Champion 2020. Together with Statista, one of the world's largest online statistics portals, FOCUS selected the top 500 among 2 million companies entered in the commercial register, which achieved significant growth in sales and employment between 2015 and 2018. A total of five companies from the federal state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern are represented in the ranking.

"We are delighted to be the FOCUS Growth Champion 2020. We are very proud to have received this award as a manufacturing company in the difficult automotive industry. This success is more than remarkable in the "ranking competition" between service providers, start-ups and retailers," says Hans Capellmann, Managing Director of PTS.

Since the company was founded in Schwerin, PTS has undergone rapid development. A major growth driver is the innovative power in process technologies, a focus on customer needs and a high-tech machine park. With over 60 CNC machines in the meantime, the company is the largest manufacturer of turned parts in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

PTS-precision GmbH owes its strong growth not only to its innovative products and processes, but above all to its committed and talented employees. "We already employ more than 45 people and have developed into an attractive employer in the region. The number of employees has almost tripled in the last three years. Thanks to the numerous new hires, we were able to meet the strong demand and further expand our sales growth," emphasizes Hans Capellmann. An essential cornerstone for this success was the expansion of the existing production site in the Schwerin industrial park in 2016. True to the motto "Power - Technology - Solutions" for customers, PTS-precision GmbH recently started the fourth expansion, which will be completed in 2020.

Strong growth offers many opportunities, but also presents a company with unexpected challenges. "Despite growing structures, we attach great importance to remaining transparent at all levels and to promoting cooperation - because that is and will remain the greatest success factor of PTS-precision GmbH".
