PTS-precision GmbH, manufacturer of precision gear components and based in the Schwerin industrial park since 2009, continues to invest in the expansion of capacities. As a result of the development success of a customer, PTS was able to acquire a transmission component that will be used in the next few years by almost all automobile manufacturers in the electrical seat angle adjustment.

The first two systems - high-end CNC Swiss-type lathes of the latest generation - have recently been installed in the factory, and further machines are in the investment planning phase in the final expansion stage up to 2015. PTS will then produce around 5 million units per year from this new and technically sophisticated product alone.

This means that PTS-precision GmbH has invested almost a million euros this year in order to secure the company's growth in the long term and thus also set a clear example for the location in Schwerin.
